Recently, there is an increasing need for micromolds to mold microparts, such as micro lenses used for cell phones and digital cameras. The micromolds are fabricated by MEMS (micro electro-mechanical systems) combining photolithography (photoengraving technology) and etching technology with nickel plating (electroforming) technology.
